Terms of service

These Terms and Conditions together with the service as detailed in your Membership Agreement govern the service and form the contract you are entering into between us and you. The price payable for the services is as set out in the Membership Agreement and inclusive of any applicable VAT. We take payment upon receipt of your order and accept no liability if services are delayed where payment is not received by us. If it is not possible to obtain full payment, then we may refuse to process your order and/or suspend services. By your purchase of a membership from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions. You are entering into a contract based on these terms and conditions on the date we receive your first payment irrespective of whether you have signed the Membership Agreement.

Membership

You are required not to be in a relationship and to provide us with true and accurate information, and we reserve the right to decline applications. Whilst all members are interviewed, and ID verified, we accept the particulars given to us given in good faith. We advise you to verify the particulars of others for yourself and we cannot accept any liability for the validity of the information we provide. Your safety is very important, and we advise that you sensible precautions when meeting others.

Service

Your matchmaking can commence after your profiling interview, and we have all the necessary documents from you including your approval of your Matrimony profile. Service may include additional services to matchmaking if specified in your Membership Agreement and if so, it is your responsibility to request these services during your membership. Any such additional services will not be available once your membership has ended.

“Recommendations” as detailed on your Membership Agreement, are defined as profiles of others put forward to you for your consideration and will be selected with your partner preferences in mind. Recommendations will be put forward subject to availability and whilst you confirm you are still seeking a partner through our service. If you no longer wish to receive Recommendations from us, then we will not be required to supply any further Recommendations or to facilitate Introductions.

The number of Recommendations we will put forward depends upon your characteristics and how narrow or otherwise your partner preferences are. We reserve the right and absolute discretion to recommend others to you who we consider might be acceptable, notwithstanding that these persons may only match your partner preferences to a degree, as this approach has proved successful for many of our clients. You accept that those we recommend to you will not necessarily agree to proceed further and/or to meet you as the choices made by others are not within our control.

Our matchmaking can include the sourcing of potential partners from beyond our current membership and we reserve the right to recommend to you others who may have been retained through these means and may not have paid a fee. However, all those we recommend to you from whatever source, will first have been ID verified and interviewed. It remains entirely your responsibility to let us know whenever you would like to receive a Recommendation and we would not normally supply further Recommendations to you when you have indicated you do not wish to receive them. In such instances, the service may be suspended and then reactivated when you ask us to do so, provided there is still service time available, as detailed in your Membership Agreement.

We will fulfill our guarantee of supplying you with the number of Recommendations as specified in your Membership Agreement, even if where necessary, we need to extend the period of service. This guarantee is subject to no significant change in your own circumstances or partner preferences after your profiling interview likely to make matchmaking more difficult or impossible.

If you want to use the services offered by Destiny Connection, your first step should be to become a member by registration on the website. Once a member registers with the us, he/she will be subject to the terms of use of Destiny Connection. In order to promote your profile on the website, a member should read the terms of use very carefully. Our services will help you in finding an ideal matrimonial alliance. Once a member agrees to the terms of use, he/she will be legally bound to the rules and regulations. The team of Destiny Connection will hold the complete rights to making changes to the terms of use at any point of time. 

Responsive Behaviour

We will treat you and all members with courtesy and respect and expect and require the same from all members. You agree not to: harass, or cause a nuisance, inconvenience, distress, or anxiety or violate the privacy of anyone we introduce you to or any employee or agent of this Matrimony company. Options Limited or its subsidiary /associated companies; do anything that restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the services; do anything that deliberately or recklessly prejudices or damages the reputation of this company/ Matrimonial services Options Limited or any of its subsidiary /associated companies.

Confidentiality

You must not discuss or show any details of other members that we have supplied to you, to any other members or non-members at any time during or after your membership as this would be a violation of privacy. We will hold your details in the strictest confidence and abide by The Data Protection Act and GDPR. You agree not to disclose any of your membership experience or the identity or personal information of any others we introduce you to, to anyone including any media outlets, or share such information anywhere online or on any website without the explicit permission of both of us and of the other party(s) concerned. You agree that we can share your data with 3rd parties for validation purposes and share data with other matchmaking agencies we liaise with who also ID verify and interview members, solely for the purposes of matchmaking. Should your service include advertising, you agree we can share information about you for the purposes of advertising for prospective partners for you.

We can terminate your membership in the following circumstances where:

You have breached these terms and conditions

You have failed to maintain contact with us or not responded to our contact for more than 6 months

You have provided us with false information

We have received either a serious complaint or persistent complaints about you which in the sole opinion of our Managing Director, justifies termination of membership

Your personal details or partner preferences have significantly changed. This would include but is not limited to a change in your sexual orientation; the acquisition of a criminal record, or a relocation that significantly adversely impacts our ability to deliver the service

You may terminate your membership with us at any time by writing to us using post or email. However, for the avoidance of any doubt, in the event of a termination of this contract either by us or you, no refund will be applicable unless we have breached these Terms and Conditions or breached your Consumer Rights. This contract is for the maximum service term detailed on your membership agreement if that is required, with no refund applicable for early termination; the service and the fee paid are not divisible pro rata, so if you change your mind or no longer require the service before the end of your contract term, then no part of the fee shall be refundable. You will not be entitled to any refund for any other reason(s) other than your legal right to cancel within 14 days of when this contract commences.

Qualifications
In order to become a member of the DC, the age of a female should be of 18 years or more and a male should be 21 years or more. This website is dedicated towards promoting the profiles of individuals seeking a matrimonial alliance. If an individual is not found to be legally qualified, the profile of the person would be eliminated. When you register with DC, you guarantee that you are legally capable and have the authority to use this website. You also assure the team of DC that you are not barred by any law from entering into a matrimonial alliance. Furthermore, you also ensure that you will follow all the terms and conditions mentioned here. DC (Destiny Connection) has every right to terminate and prohibit a member from its website, once the team is assured that the specific member is not eligible to enter a matrimonial alliance.

Duration
Destiny Connection has the right to end your membership by informing you through the contact information registered and verified with the company. If a member is found to violate any of the terms and conditions mentioned here, he/she will not be given any refund from the management of the company. The duration of the membership varies in accordance with the kind of membership taken by an individual.

Member Usage Non-Commercially
The website of Destiny Connection has been created for the personal usage of a member. A member is allowed to promote his/her matrimonial profile in order to find a suitable life partner. This website allows a member to accept or reject the interest of other members of the website. Every member is prohibited from using this website for commercial promotions or other such purposes. A member cannot provide website links or subscribe in order to promote their own business or organization. The terms of DC must not be used for any other purpose. Legal action can be taken against members who use the website for illegal purposes.

Additional Terms of Use for Subscribers
Destiny Connection will have complete rights to monitor the activities on each of the profiles. The team can also terminate the membership of a user if the need arises i.e if the member uses any abusive or unethical language.

When you register with Destiny Connection  you assure the team that you do not have problem of any sort when the team sends emails, messages or calls. This facility will be valid only till the time the membership of the individual lasts with the bureau. This acceptance will override all registrations done with Do Not Disturb (DND) service and National Customer Preference Registration. This confirmation is applicable on emails, messages and calls. However, it does not include advertisements, inquiries and promotional offers through us.

Destiny Connection will not permit an individual to create more than one profile on the website. The DC will have the right to close down any additional profiles created by a single user.

A member cannot use his/her profile to sell products or businesses through the website. Every member is only permitted to promote his/her matrimonial profile. Bulk emails or messages to different profiles on the website are not permitted.

Information of other profile members must never be used to harass them in any manner.

Destiny Connection will have the right to take legal action in case a member is found to be abuse or misusing the displayed information of other members on the website.

Automated software is not allowed to be used for communication purposes.

The team of the DC will monitor communications done between members. In case the presence of obscene communication is seen, the team will delete it immediately without prior information given to the concerned members.

Destiny Connection advice every member to be careful and take necessary number of precautions while interacting with other members on the website. Guidelines on the website are present for further knowledge.

When a person registers with us, he/she confirms that the acceptance to the terms and conditions is done.
